You are your most limited resource.
Welcome to The Conservation Therapist, a place of rest and support for conservationists’ mental health and wellbeing. Conservation has its own unique challenges and struggles that can impact resilience and lead to high rates of burnout, anxiety and depression. If you want to run the marathon of a long, healthy, impactful career, taking care of yourself along the way isn’t just a good idea—it’s vital.
About Me
Hi, my name is Brittany Sawrey-Coulson, and I’m a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona, USA. My previous career is in conservation, where I worked primarily as a zookeeper, and I hold a MSc in Conservation Science from Imperial College London. My passion is to bring accessible mental health resources to conservationists, helping them to lead full, resilient lives.
